Want to learn to speak really good Spanish? For more than 40 years we have provided Spanish lessons at every level, with experienced top teachers who are all from Spain or Latin America. Our own cozy building in the heart of Amsterdam can be seen as a Spanish-speaking enclave in the Netherlands.

 

With us you will not only learn the language, but also learn a lot about Spanish and Latin American culture. We have a secretariat that is always ready to help you draw up a personal roadmap, answer all your questions and inform you about our special conversation classes, cultural workshops or get-togethers!

Still unsure about your level?

Choose your course

Básico

Do you speak little or no Spanish? Then now is your moment! Here you will learn the basics of the Spanish language at a brisk pace (¡Muy rápido!). You can start at the beginning or go up a level. After the Básico courses you will be able to hold conversations with hispanohablantes and be ready for your trip in a Spanish-speaking country! (European Level A1).

Intermedio

Is your Spanish knowledge more advanced? Can you introduce yourself with ease, conjugate (un)regular verbs and have you heard of the Indefindo? Then you could use a challenge in one of our Intermedio levels! In these courses we go one step further for those who are ready to dive deeper into the Spanish language. (European level A2)

Alto

If you've already taken a lot of steps to learn Spanish, you'll probably feel right at home with our Alto levels. At these levels we assume that you can handle past tenses (yes, all of them!) and that your vocabulary extends beyond everyday conversation. This is where you start reading articles in Spanish and where your grammatical knowledge goes in depth. (European B1 level)

Avanzado

¡Ay, Señor! Have you been through many courses? Do you already understand the articles from El País quite well and are you familiar with the different forms of the Subjuntivo? Then consider one of our Avanzado courses! Here you will learn to discuss current topics and work with complex temporal forms such as: 'If I knew it was going to rain then...' (European level B2.1)

Superior

Do you already know (almost) all the grammar of the Spanish language? Can you converse at a high level in Spanish on any subject? Then you will learn even more in the Superior courses. You will learn high level grammar and continue to expand your vocabulary with specialized vocabulary (European level B2.2).

Perfeccionamiento

Do we need to tell you very little? Do you already know everything, but just want to make sure your knowledge is up to date and that you can keep practicing? In our highest level we assume that you only want to perfect your Spanish. You already speak Spanish perfecto, but in this course you keep it perfecto! (European C1 level)

  • I dare say there is no better language school in the Netherlands for learning Spanish than Molinos de Viento. Fantastic teachers who give very varied lessons. After the summer I think I will start my fifth course. Not because my Spanish is not good enough, but because I like it there.   • After a previous attempt to learn Spanish, I made another attempt to learn Spanish. Heard about Molinos de Viento through the grapevine and started there with Basico 1. That was 4 years ago. Spanish is quite difficult but I enjoy going to class. It is a nice school with very capable and professional teachers. I wouldn't want any other school.
