What will I learn in this course?

In the Intermedio 1 course, you will work mainly with Imperfecto (e.g., “Trabajaba”) and Futuro (e.g., “Trabajaré”). You will learn to say what you would like, you can talk about the future and how it used to be, and you will learn practical vocabulary about shopping and cooking.

In particular, the completed tense (e.g., “Yo he trabajado”), the past tense Indefinido (e.g., “Yo trabajé”) and the imperative (e.g., “Abre la puerta”) should be reasonably familiar before participating in Intermedio 1.

What will I learn in this course?

To participate in the Intermedio 2 level, you are already
familiar with the different past tenses, the Perfecto (“He trabajado”), the Indefinido (“Trabajé”) and the Imperfecto (“Trabajaba”).

In the Intermedio 2 course, you’ll take an important step by expanding your knowledge with the Subjuntivo, a new form you’ll use to refine your Spanish (e.g., “Quiero que trabajes más”). It allows you to talk with more nuance about
your feelings and express your opinions. In addition, it teaches you common expressions (“¡Que tengas buen viaje!”).

Grammar

The Subjuntivo, you can name events that took place before others (“Cuando llegó, ya se había ido”) and say what someone else said (“Dijo que tenía que trabajar”).

What will I learn in this course?

Participation in this level requires a thorough knowledge of past tenses and the basic rules of the Subjuntivo (e.g., “Quiero que vengas ahora”).

By the end of this level, you can use the future tense, among other things, to make plans and participate in discussions on any non-specialized topic.

Upon completion, it has reached level A2 of the European Framework of Reference.
